HousingLast year’s Tuesday housing opening was so successful that we are continuing the trend this year. Hotel Registration will go live at 12:00 noon (Eastern) on Tuesday, January 26th. After purchasing your Gen Con Indy Badge, a confirmation email will be sent to the address registered on your account. The email will include the hotel confirmation code, which is required to submit room requests through the Passkey website and when contacting the Housing Bureau directly. If you do not receive a confirmation email, be sure to check the address of record for your account, then email customerservice(at)gencon.com to have your badge confirmation email resent.
We have partnered with a number of distinctive hotels in the Indianapolis area to secure the best rates possible for Gen Con attendees. Rates vary by hotel, but attendees should find excellent pricing when reserving through the Gen Con Housing Bureau. In the event of rooms selling out, please contact the Gen Con Housing Bureau to be added to the waiting list. The Housing Bureau will be glad to assist you with all of your housing needs.
Gen Con does not provide shuttle service to the convention center from the airport hotels; however some suburban hotels provide limited shuttle services to their guests. Most suburban hotel parking is free of charge, and there is ample downtown parking available near the convention center for those who prefer to drive daily. Please check details with your hotel of choice before booking your room and making local travel arrangements.

Event SubmissionIt's a new year, and that means that event submission is right around the corner! Event submission begins this Wednesday, January 13th.
Just like last year, there will be three event submission cycles. The first cycle ends on January 29th, the second on February 12th and the third (and final) cycle ends on March 12th, when event submission itself closes. Events submitted in each cycle are reviewed and placed before events in a later cycle, so make sure to submit your events as early as possible to get the best space.
We made a few tweaks to the submission form this year to try to make it a bit simpler, and to make it easier to link GMs directly to their events. If you have any questions or problems with submitting your events, please email us or visit the GM forum.
As always, if you have any feedback on the submission process, or ideas on how to make it faster and easier, please tell us. We are always looking for ways to improve the experience for our event organizers and GMs.
